Respected and beloved Mr. Abhinav Bindra,

Sports for all, should be the motto. Getting Olympic medal will be a by-product of that. Inclination to games and sports shows a healthy society, be it full of various wanted or apparently unwanted people. For that we need infrastructure. I am nothing against any game but infrastructure should be same for all. Popular games will take its’ own share. Baseball or Basketball is very popular in USA but that does not kill other sports there. You can not envy on popularity of any particular game. So INFRASTRUCTURE is the important issue. At the same time one has to understand Govt. can not do everything for you. You need to spend money, time for achieving something. Just as we do, in all other cases, including studies.
So, proper INFRASTRUCTURE is the key issue.
I personally think players like you should reject all personal prizes announced by any Govt. organization and compel them to make proper provision for infrastructure for general attraction to games and sports, studies. However company gift and sponsorship is your pride and you have every right to enjoy it for your own comfort and convenience.

regards

Sandip

Hi Abhinav..
First of all I like to congratulate you for the Doctorate u have received and that I am happy that you've got it from my city Chennai ....
I wish you to get more n more laurels in the forth coming years...
Hats off to u...

My suggestion on your topic is the state government must take effective measures to bring out the talented sportsmen in each state...There are many athelets who are striving hard for their daily food and shelter...so for this the government pattern must change...young people say from 25-30 yrs of age must hold the post of CM,PM n all...Only then our country will flourish n sports and to say also in all aspects...

All the Best Abhinav!!

Mr.Abhinav,

But the same man is not even in the news now. So be careful....The same people will blame u...The same media will blame u.. We all like your composure more than the gold medel. You have a a lot to offer to the Indian sports with your ideas and experience.

hi abhinav
i would like to extend my comment on what
Mr. Rupesh has written just 5 comment above this....

His first question is very imp....
Where do u see urself after 4 years...
because this time is right to think
about this matter
this guy has rightly written not to get carried away
by this notice around u.....
not only Rathore's silver medal but
before rathore we had got a bronze medal...
n then what happened in next olympics????
they were in news when they had brought medals
but now....everythings got changed for them..

this should not happen....
so be careful..

u never know these people will
will go gaga when u in news for ur success...
n then same people will blame u
if u r one step behind success..
i think u got it...what i m saying...

same thing happens with our criketers....
if we win a match everyone celebrates it with
great enthusiasm
n if we had ane defeat then dont ask.....
have u read in ane newspapers....
"dhoni k ghar par patthar ki bouchar",
people go mad ...
they take these matter very seriously...

i think u got whatever i want to say....

So be happy and as i have written in my previous
comment
festive season of lord ganesha....
he will help u....
his blessings are with u n ur family always....

Regards
Smruti

Hi Abhinav,

Well I can hear you. I followed your blog only couple of time, i.e after the fact, life goes on ..etc..

Appreciate your time on posting on the blogger. At least some are getting inspired by your views... 216 and counting....

As you have said earlier, what happens to a person once he climbs Mt. Everest, of course he has to get down and climb another mountain. That's very very very true. Not that I'm saying this, keep up the good work dude. Keep posting your ideas, your views, and opinions. I hope someone will be inspired.

We do have inspired persons across all the states, but I feel only the dedication and the parent support is missing.

More later have to get back to work .... again...

God bless you...

You're in the right direction buddy :)
From the floor you are in, it is surely a better view of what is happening. But, may I dare to suggest:
1. Develop and encourage sports that Indians can really be good at.
2. Inculcate a mechanism to observe talent and spread it wisely.
3. Underline the requirement of able coaches who want to work with passion - like the character SRK plays in Chak De...
4. Recognise sport talent at all levels and suitably reward it, to show encouragement and discourage the thought of 'Study over all else' that India suffer with.
5. Distribute sport federation across various areas to delegate opportunity and responsibility.
6. Name more babies as Abhinav :)

Unknown said...

Hi Abhinav,

It is nice to know that you are trying to promote the spirit of sports. What we need is a lot of things-starting with change in perseption towards sports other than cricket, need good infrastructure, coaches so on and so forth. All this can only begin with a "change of attitude ", support and encouragement to rest of sports from the Government.

Also people like you who have the spirit of sport and lucky enough to afford good infrastructure etc., can also do some thing in addition.

Abhinav Bindra is a PUNJABI who are most money hungry corrupt cheaters in the world.Go to chandigarh or Punjab and you will know it.
They have blamished INDIA.
See the hotel industry in INDIA it is most over priced in the world taking prices as much as europe or usa and not even giving 10% of their services.Pure cheating.Such high priced low quality hotels are owned by Punjabis

Indians know nothing of either service or technology or anything they are just bla bla bla living in 18th century

To be blind to facts is escapism

To say corruption, helpness, offical jungless etc facts are escapism is the best escapism ever to live in dream world.

Imagination and dreaming to be part of solution is just wishthinking

India has not changed. Its governments are born cheaters coming out of cheaters

All these bla bla bla of abhinav is just a way for himself to make his status higher in order to earn more money that is it

The whole family is coming out of taking not giving as is obvious by him and his dad's complaints

This is a fact

All people have tried to get support in the name of improving fighting etc just to use this support to generate more revenue for themselves

Nothing can be done in INDIA

IN 60 years India can't build one good long distance road. What change people are dreaming of

The poor pitiable lethargic lazy uncivilized greedy inferiority complexed INDIANs have always worshipped heroes just to prove to themselves they are something which in reality they are not

Indians are not ready to change at all. They have never learnt anything from history.

Recent bomb blasts due to muslims prove it

Surely, if a junglee, uncivilized immature idiot like harbhajan can earn crores and still act like moron on field Abhinav has right to earn more

Nothing wrong with it

But it is too much to flock around him and expect but then INDIANs can't help it their realities are so horrifying they need to live in dream world of delirums.

Abhinav is not youngest Ph.D.The fact he got Ph.D. even honororay proves how low INDIAN standards and education is

It also proves that in INDIA everything sells.

By closing eyes to facts facts don't change.By saying we are not helpless against authorities corrupt money hungry selfish harrasing horrifying realities don't change

bye bye

You can criticize me I will not post back.I am not interested in wasting time on India Indians or their delirums or too much bla bla bla guys called INDIANs or chance hero worshippers or criticizing or slandering anybody.I am writing what we saw and experienced in INDIA.Indians are time wasters too much egoistic lacking any base whatsoever

I know one thing INDIA will never be anywhere no matter what noise they make in their dream world. They lack basic protocols of brain, heart, mind and soul required to even comprehend what it is to make a NATION.Whole nation is nowhere and has lost focus that is why they go on worshipping a little punny boy trying to raise his status doing nothing

1. India had and will always have a dream...why? becaause to achieve anything in life you Have to dream.

2. anybody will not tolerate nonsense against their country...nor will i

3. you have been criticising India and abhinav a lot...they have done a lot as a country as well as for the country...what contribution r u as a person giving to your country? (which ever country you belong to)

4. it is easy to show a finger to the person before you...do u realise 3 fingers r pointing to you and 1 to god?

5. India is a country of Tradition Values and Cultures...and and for your kind information let me tell you we have lived up to it, every individual untill we die...any other couintry than india will not Help others but i can bet on this India does.

6. lastly you mentinoed that you'll never post back, that itself shows how coward you are, by even keeping your profile private...be bold enough to respond back if you have the guts...im ready to reply on my blog to you

Abhinav, I respect ur thoughts to work for the improvement of sports in India. As i think, u r somewhat upset about the condition of olympic sports in india becoz here dont get so much help from govt so as too utilize there talents completely......ok I do agree with u.....but as i think real reason behind this is is the fact that in india there is poverty, illiteracy n of course corruption. The quality of sports in India depends majorly on these problems.I feel that u genuinely want to do something for the betterment of ur country, for this I think u shud care abt these things too as these r the basic things.......U were born in a rich family so i think u r not so much familiar with the kind of poverty that is there in many parts of the country. Many people dont have enough food to eat then how can they nourish their sporting talents..........I sincerely hope that u will especially work for these deprived people n work for their betterment in any field.I hope that whatever u will do shall not only b for the betterment of indian sports but also for the betterment of whole nation....I also want to congratulate u for donating 5 lacs for flood victims of Bihar.......If u wish to write me back,u can write on(akanksha130@gmail.com).... anyways best wishes for whatever u will do with good intentions abt our country...

And, i have one doubt. Can you tell how much rewards in cash you were gifted after the olympics and who are the gifters.

The below url says you have earned 1.8 cr in cash alone.

Hey Abhinav,

Just stumbled upon your article, and I couldn't help but drop you a line. Your piece on "Time is Now" really hit home for me. The way you've woven personal anecdotes with profound insights is both engaging and inspiring. It's like having a conversation with a friend who's been through it all and is sharing the wisdom gained along the way.

Your perspective on seizing the moment and not waiting for the perfect time resonated deeply. It's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of life and keep postponing dreams, thinking there's always a better time to pursue them. Your words served as a reminder that sometimes, waiting for the stars to align might mean missing the boat entirely.

Moreover, your journey from dreams to reality, especially your Olympic feat, is a testament to the power of persistence and resilience. It's motivating to hear stories like yours that emphasize the importance of hard work and determination in achieving our goals. Thanks for sharing your experiences; they've left me with a renewed sense of determination and a belief that indeed, the time is now.

Cheers,
